Recipe Time

So my fellow scrapper Thynner blogged about one of her favorite Recipes on her blog. Here Challenge was to post your own favorite recipe and do a lay out about it. The lay out will have to wait until this weekend but I thought I would post a recipe.

Here is the recipe for my requested Banana Pudding Dessert. Everyone at work loves it when I make it.

1 box Vanilla Wafers
3 small boxes of Banana Cream Pudding
Milk to make Pudding
4 to 6 bananas sliced in coins
1 tub thawed Cool Whip
Chocolate syrup(optional)
Strawberry syrup(optional)
1 jar marichino Cherries (optional)

  1. Line a 9x13inch pan with Wafers..Save about 10 or so for decoration.
  2. Place sliced bananas in pan randomly.
  3. Mix Pudding according to directions.
  4. Pour Pudding in pan.
  5. Top with Cool Whip.
  6. Crumble reserved wafers and sprinkle over top.
  7. Swirl syrups on top.
  8. Place drained marichino cherries on top.
  9. Chill for atleast 30 minutes.

I will see about posting a layout for this recipe over the weekend.

Checking in

  • Well spent the evening making mini albums for gifts for coworkers. They aren't complete yet and will not have any photos..I plan to stick in small candy pieces.
  • I had to go into Hobby Lobby to get binders for my bind it all. Love that gadget and will have to make more with it shortly.
  • I checked out wescrap.com and Jess has posted the class supply list for Technique 102 class in January. It has alot of Items on it but I will be getting some of them slowly..especially when I see items on sale or have coupons. Thank goodness I have a few of the items already.

Well I am off to bed. Good night. Will post completed project tomorrow after work.

Welcome to my blog

Well I have decided to give a go at blogging. I have been following quite a few blogs lately. I don't know if anyone will find my writings any useful.

A little about me.....I am single and live near Topeka, Kansas. I am a loving aunt to 4 boys and a girl. I am a proud, loving daughter to three wonderful people. My mom is awesome and puts up with me and my brothers crap. I am lucky to have a stepfather who treats me as his own. Unfortunately my father was called to heaven in July 2000. I support adults with developmental disablities. My work brings me fun and meaning to my life.

I have several hobbies. The top dog of my hobbies right now is scrapbooking. I got started scrappin when I had to keep an album for one of the guys at work. I still scrap for him but can not publish any of it. I scrap memories for myself and my family to enjoy. I also am a diehard Topeka Roadrunners fan and Nascar fan. I also enjoy cross stitching, crocheting, and watching tv.

Right now I am participating in a 12 Days of Christmas Cards Contest on Mon Ame Memories. You can check out some of my creations above.
